Questions and Answers on Taoist Sexual practices:

Q1: There is zero scientific benefit to semen retention, period. In fact, ejaculation only 10x or less a month yields an over 20% increase in risk for prostate disease according to one Harvard Study. If you want to have optimal physical health and hormonal balance, why should orgasms not be every day?

A1: Taoism makes an apparent distinction between male ejaculation and orgasm.

Ejaculation is a spinal reflex, and orgasm is a cerebral reflex; with practice, the two can be separated, and a man can have as many orgasms as he pleases without ejaculation.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) advises against frequent ejaculation, as semen is seen as the purest essence a man produces. Excessive ejaculation can deplete this essence, leading to physical decline. Studies on fruit flies support this, showing delayed aging when mating is postponed. Over-ejaculation can cause yin and yang deficiencies, increased illness, hair loss, and erection difficulties. TCM encourages men to transform semen into mental power through meditation, which Master Chia teaches every retreat three times a year.

Q2. Over 1000 days without ejaculation here.

Is it harmful?

A2. If you were cultivating energy from the retrained semen using the Taoist techniques, this would be a significant gain. Otherwise, it is not much of a benefit for the body.

Q3. What about women and orgasm? Should we have it every day?

A3. The frequency of orgasms varies widely among individuals, and there's no universal standard for how often women should have them. It's essential to listen to your body and prioritize what feels best for you, focusing on overall well-being and mutual satisfaction in your sexual relationships.

Q4. My doctor told me this, if you are a man you need to ejaculate as much as you can to keep a healthy prostate. I want to hear your opinion Master🙏

My urologist told me to ejaculate more to help with my prostate (40 year old man). Is that incorrect?

A4. We recommend prostate massage instead of ejaculation. Frequent ejaculation may deplete vital pure essence, potentially leading to health issues in the future. Since aging accelerates after the age of 35, it is advised that men retain their essence while learning techniques for cultivation and achieving orgasms without ejaculation.

Q5. I have a serious question: my girlfriend is pregnant, and ever since then, I haven't had the desire to have sex with her as much. Is that because I've done my job? I also have no desire to ejaculate. My health is great and I have tons of energy. Is this normal?

A5. It's common for men to experience changes in sexual desire during their partner's pregnancy. This can be due to a variety of reasons:

- Becoming a father can bring excitement and anxiety, affecting libido.

- A subconscious desire to protect your partner might reduce sexual desire.

- Anticipating new responsibilities can cause stress, impacting your sex drive.

- Your partner's pregnancy can influence your hormone levels.

- Your energy might be channeled into other activities or responsibilities.

Your experience is normal, and addressing it with understanding and communication can help maintain a strong relationship.

Q6. I know ejaculation should be limited. But If we are able to have non ejaculatory orgasms (NEO) the way your book describes, how frequently can we have those?

A6. Non ejaculatory orgasms may not be limited to a number. As long as you do not lose energy by semen, the energy will be with you.

Q7. What can you recommend if one has a vasectomy

A7. People who have had a vasectomy have the opportunity to retain their valuable essence within their bodies. If they also practice energy cultivation, they can effectively double or triple their energy levels.
